On flutes, cittern (a kind of Mandola), quinton (for bowed strings), ceterina (another Mandola) or oud (Arab lute), all the former instrumentarium - witness of many cultural crossings between East and West, North and South - brings the end of the middle ages friendly and festive in a devilishly convincing manner.
