DVD - LPCM - Audio Stream amazon.com Editorial Reviews Description Walter Trout is a younger generation blues guitarist, who toured with Joe Tex, Big Mama Thornton, John Lee Hooker, Canned Heat and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. This concert, from the German "Ohne Filter" series took place on June 29, 1993. Appearing with Trout was Martin Gerschwitz, James Trapp and Bernard Pershey. Special features include an interview with the producer,Artist's biography, recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1. Walter's Da Man, April 29, 2003 Reviewer: D. Pollard (Odessa, Texas United States) Along with the Johnny Winter DVD I also received this Walter Trout in Concert DVD today. Feels just like Christmas. Again this DVD is from the German TV show OHNE FILTER-MUSIK PUR. Several of the other DVDs I have purchased are also taken from this same show. The overall quality of the DVD is good. Clear picture and very good 5.1 sound. Would have been exceptional with DTS, but I digress. Along the lines of Stevie Ray Vaughan or Gary Moore and Johnny Winter, Walter Trout is a blistering, blazing Blues Rock guitar God. The only thing he lacks from the others I mentioned Is the fame. He also has a pretty decent voice and writes really good tunes to boot. If your a fan of this genre of blues music buy this DVD. You won't be sorry you did.  total play-time - approx. 60 min.
