To celebrate my birthday here it is.One of the best blues cd´s of the 90´s.I know some of you never heard of Luther Allison, but when he died in 1997 he was by that time, the man of the moment at the blues scene. His comeback from Europe(where he spend almost 20 years) to the USA, was like a hurricane. After releasing his first cd to Alligator records, the sucess come instantly. He won all the blues awards, and take the first place of the charts every new release.I will not tell anything more.A short story of his life is in the booklet i scanned. So turn up the volume, shut your eyes, and remember Luther´s motto: Leave your ego, play the music, love the people"and be prepared to hear some of the best licks of your blues life. Reviews:

Happy birthday to you ! It's special thing, you have bithday, we got the present. Thank you very much for the CDs. I've heard him about 15 years ago. They played more than 4 hours in a club in Budapest. It was a great evening. I hope this album will remind me of that evening. |
