"Doc Cheng’s" restaurant in Hamburg’s luxury "Raffles Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten" (Four Seasons) is one of the most interesting and enjoyable in the city. The Euro-Asian restaurant, which has been awarded 15 Gault Millau points, describes itself as being exciting, young and dynamic.
The Far East is brought to you. Fusion of the West and Far East, antiquity and modern times is not just reflected in the design, but also in the menu. European products are prepared with Asian spices, vegetables and Oriental cooking methods, for example in a tandoor oven. Accompanied by wines from the New World, they take you to another sphere. Original Oriental wood carvings, Far Eastern furnishings and warm red and gold colours shape the atmosphere in the restaurant.
Now Hamburg label Maxelect has released the compilation of the same name. Featuring great sounds with an Asian touch from the Maxelect Allstars, you can recreate the "Doc Cheng’s" feel within your own four walls. Max Melvin, Denox and Nova June have all contributed to this beautiful chill-out compilation, which managed to spend over 3 weeks at the top of the album download charts in the Apple Music Store and is among the most popular download albums in the electronic segment.
