Every note shines in Byron Janis' spectacular playing of this most difficult of concertos, backed by one of true geniuses of music: Fritz Reiner and the Chicago Symphony at its apex. Flawless, brilliant recording. A must.  great recording, July 13, 2000 Reviewer: "tvsfrank" (Winter Park, Florida United States) Byron Janis' rendition of Rachmaninov's 1st and 3rd Concertos are nothing short of sheer brilliance. His 1st is lightning quick and full of energy. Only Earl Wild's 1st comes close to it. Janis' 3rd is second only to Argerich's with Chailly on Phillips. The faster pace that he and Argerich chooses for the 3rd is more in line with Rachmaninov's reading, unlike Ashkenazy's or Kissin's who chooses to take the opening more slowly. The recording quality of the RCA Living Stereo is quite good, although there are a couple of places where the sound does distort a bit. In the end, this is a very good CD well worth having

Скачал 94 % и статус стал ошибочным а шкала прогресса - в черно-желтую диагональную полосу. Как лечить, подскажите пожалуйста? При этом очередь за файлом все равно есть. |

Check your Temp folder in Preferences for correctness Check if any files in Temp folder are write protected Restart eMule - Completing a download or moving it to Incoming Check your Incoming folder in Preferences for correctness Check the available space on the hard disk of the Incoming folder Restart eMule If nothing helps, quit eMule, delete the preferences.ini and known.met in the folder you installed eMule to, and then restart. |

OlCh, спасибо, закачка продолжается. Хотя все парт.меты были доступны для записи. Только перезапустил мула и все. Надо наверное уже на 0.47 перейти... |

Послушал тут Рахманинова, обалдел и как это 50 лет назад удалось так записать. Конечно на SACD не тянет, но очень хороший диск и концерт, лучше чем сам Рахманинов сыграл - пианист!!!
