I've heard only "We Live Here (Remastered) (ed2k://|file|Pat_Metheny_Group_-_1995_-_We_Live_Here_[Remastered_2006]_(mp3,_vbr)_[CDX_Rip]_by_Jzzz.zip|105759746|B9FF43E0E8E9AF15AB11D28A9065B448|/" and it's not that very huge improvement over the original one, for an ordinary listener! The first thing that you'll notice is the maximized RMS, I mean it sounds louder than original, like all the remasters... Meanwhile, it sounds warmer and more "open", more detailed over the whole freq range!!! Most noticeable is midrange - now you can hear Metheny's trademark reverb spreading thing very clear and full!  And other instruments are clearer, more alive too! Don't forget that maybe 85% of what you hear is in the midrange freq!!! Overall, the new remaster sounds better than the original, for me! I can't wait for "Secret Story" remaster! I love this piece of ART!  Jzzz |
