My Judas In Shadows Lost From The Brave My Heart The Burden No Mans Land Ride Forever Black Symphony Deamons The Brave Never Bleeds My Sorrow Run For Your Life Jan Thore Grefstad – Vocals Nobby Noberg – Bass Toya Johanson – Guitars Ronny Milianowicz – Drums "In Shadows Lost From The Brave" is the debut album of Swedish power metallers SAINT DEAMON. Their record company and, of course, the band itself have great expectations for this release. So let’s see if they are right, believing in this. Not much to say about those four guys and the band, since they only exist for less than two years! SAINT DEAMON was named after a fictive ghost rider called S. Deamon, by Ronny Milianowicz in 2006. Without wasting any time, he completed the lineup. Nobbyjoined the band, alongside with Toya. Then the only missing link was the singer. They found Jan Thore in the spring of 2007. Just after the lineup was completed, they started recording the songs for their first album, alongside with producer Jens Bogren. We all know that it is almost impossible to play something new as far as pure Power Metal concerns. So, since we will probably not listen to something innovate, it has to be damn good! And this album, for a debut, is an album well played! First of all the production and the sound of the album are really nice. All the organs and vocals can be heard clearly. The voice of Jan Thore surprised me in a good way. A nice clear voice that gives extra points to the nice riffing of Johanson. When you are going to listen to that album, bands like NOCTURNAL RITES, HAMMERFALL, BLOODBOUND, MASTERPLAN, DREAM EVIL and in some parts the fathers of Power Metal HELOWEEN will come to mind. The band knows that they are not going to reinvent the wheel, but what they do, they do it well. Even though 2008 just started, I believe that this is going to be one of the best Power Metal releases of this year. Nice compositions, with choruses that stick in your mind, and a good effort overall. If you are ’into’ Power Metal, check these guys. And even though this is a really good album, I expect more things from those guys in the future |

альбом - супер... и не только потому, что вокалист в группе Jan Thore Grefstad, который пел в Highland Glory, выпустившые два альбома... вобще все там складно... |
