Weather Report Joe Zawinul - keyboards Jaco Pastorius - bass Alex Acuсa - drums Wayne Shorter - saxophones Manolo Badrena - percussion Review (Wiki) Heavy Weather is Weather Report's seventh album, released in 1977 through Columbia Records. It is the band's second album with bassist Jaco Pastorius. On Black Market, Pastorius played on two of the seven tracks, but here he is a full member of the band. It is on the short list of LP's considered to be the greatest of all Jazz-Fusion recordings. Featuring the jazz standard "Birdland", the album is one of the best-sellers in the Columbia jazz catalog. Heavy Weather is considered a landmark album in the jazz-rock or fusion movement of the 1970s. Its opening track, "Birdland", was a significant commercial success, something not typical of instrumental music. The Birdland melody had been performed live by the band as part of Dr Honoris Causa, which was from Zawinul's eponymous solo album. A striking feature of Birdland is Pastorius picking harmonics on his fretless bass, although recordings exist of live performance of the theme prior to Pastorius joining the band when it was purely a keyboard section.

А не CK-64427 (http://www.24-karat.de/sony/ должен быть? А то у меня что-то и CK 65108 уже есть. А теперь и CK 57185. Что-то я не понял...  Хотя вот такая (http://www.connollyco.com/discography/weather_report/heavy.html и такая (http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/weather_report/heavy_weather_f2/ дискографии есть. А! CK 64427 - обычный  CK 57185 - long box

По моей информации, CK 57185 - это original-издание, а CK 64427 - золотое Mastersound... при этом золотое было как jewel, так и long-sleeve... да и по твоей ссылке видно, что: 1993 Sony CD 57185 1994 Columbia/Legacy CD 64427 к слову, на золотом CK 64410 McLaughlin / Di Meola / Delucia Friday Night in San Francisco тоже стоит Columbia/Legacy |
