I don't know what to write or say. The biggest heavy metal singer was gone. I did not know what album post here. He made only excellent stuffs, he was the magics himself. Firstly I wanted to add some of his the biggest album, but then I realized he has only big and amazing albums. I am a huge fan of Dio. I was very happy when I found this 2 CD set. This was the introduction of Dio. His first two professional records. Then I listened to it. This two albums are not heavy metal stuffs. But this was a very happy era of him. Dio captures the emotion of each song like it was his only child. Dio calls this music "honkey-tonk-rock", and, though, if you are a fan of Dio's later work, you might think, "How in the world is that voice going to be anything but heavy metal?", it works. And it works brilliantly. Dio should get back to his roots and try another album like these. The voice of an angel and the voice of a devil coming from one man. You must experience Dio. And the best way to do that is to buy these albums. The Rainbow albums that follow are also a must have. Through Elf, Rainbow, and Black Sabbath, you can actually hear the graduation from honkey-tonk, to full blown knock you off your seat metal, "Falling Off the Edge of the World" from The Mob Rules. These Elf albums are a great place to start a journey that is the life of Ronald James Padavona. These albums are not my favourite Dio albums, but they are so so happy. And I think Ronnie was a happy man, and he do not want make us unhappy. Rest in peace Ronnie, the journey just had begun.
