Maqama is a Polish band, launched in 2008 by Kamil Haidar, Krzysztof Staluszka, Piotr Podgorski and Tom Krzeminski. After a year of a mutual inspiring artistic trip, the band started to recording its first album. After seven hard working months in their own studio, records were done. Next, material was mixed in Elektra Studio in Warsaw by Adam Toczko and mastered in Universal Studios NY by Kevin Reeves. On 16th October 2009, the album called "Maqamat" was released. (maqama.pl)
