James Hardway
Welcome To The Neon Lounge (1997)

user posted image

James Hardway (a.k.a. Dave Harrow) penned the cool seductive sonics `Welcome To The Neon Lounge` whilst doing the international playboy thang in the casinos of Las Vegas. Sharing his very own blend of loungecore, Hardway schmoozes us through the good times and the bad, the ups and the downs, the wins and losses.
The new release of James Hardway is simply one of the best Jazz Drum & Bass CD ever. It is not only the perfect mix between Jazz and Drum and Bass but also the fact that James Hardway has been working with real Jazz musicians for creating these songs. You can really hear the difference, he produces jazzy drum'n'bass which is not classical and doesn't contain any cliches. His music is still hi quality and original. "Welcome to the neon lounge" is both relaxing music and music to dance. Album is very melodic, some tracks contain very interesting female vocals.
