John William's efforts to the "Shindler's List" score are wonderful. Though known for scoring movies like "Jaws" and "Star Wars", he proves he can also score powerdramas. His music follows the movie's theme and its scenes exactly. On the album alone, the listener can feel the characters' trauma in the movie. Some may cry as a result. Williams every note is amazing. His mixture of instruments, mostly orchestral, gives every piece his originality. Though most tracks follow "Theme From Schindler's List", they still offer their own theme. Violin soloist Itzhak Perlman offers his own emotional setting with his amazing talents. Such genius efforts earned John Williams the Oscar for Best Original Score. "Shindler's List Soundtrack" is great for those who like orchestral and/or emotional music. This album will give the added movie experience. |
