Go to the window.... It's hard to believe it's been over 40 years now since I saw this in the local theatre as a kid. Amazingly enough, unlike most pop band movies of the era, this one holds up pretty well - at times even seems as a precursor to Monty Python's Flying Circus. This MPI version was the last commercially available version - my copy part of the MPI 4-DVD box set called the "Ultimate DVD Collection" (which also included the "First American Visit," "Magical Mystery Tour" and "You Can't Do That: The Making Of A Hard Day's Night" DVDs.) The muscial selections have been dubbed in in stereo, the rest of course being the original mono soundtrack. I will be dedicating my entire bandwidth to this post for at least a day. Hopefully the mods are still offering free downloads on DVDs...
