first of all what kind of DVDA you want to create?
MLP means multichannel sound which means difference of sounds of the channels, which means that every of the track in 5.1 configuration should be separately prepared before to get in the multichannel mix.
guide has been written above is interesting but pretty much basic and if you'll follow it, result of your multichannel MLP wouldn't be much differ from standard stereo sound.
in other words there will be no difference in the sound between regular 2.0 LPCM and 5.1 multichannel you'd produced.
as a matter of fact you'll hear more discrete sound from stereo CD by using DSP function of your receiver than from created by this way MLP

as for the make DVDA from an already available MLPs, you may use any DVDA authoring application. there even some freeware, just give a search in the Google with the use "dvda authoring" keywords

Существует ли в природе какая-нибудь софтина для автоматического реавторинга DVD-A? Как DVD Shrink, только для DVD-A. У меня образ чуть-чуть на DVD5 не влезает, хочу выкинуть лишнюю дорожку.

Нет, только полный реавторинг.
Но можно например удалить папку видео_тс, в некоторых случаях это помогает.

Есть же такая вещь как психоакустика, и, если правильно её использовать, можно и в 16/44.1 добиться достаточной звонкости и прозрачности. Для начала поэксперементируй с Эксайтером, только не переборщи . И вообще с мастеринговой обработкой поработай внимательнее, может и диапазон CD Audio устроит...
