thanks to my friend kusaywa and to others ZZ Top - 1975 Fandango! [Expanded & Remastered][2006] by server_alliance Review by HARP Magazine The band upped the ante in 1975 with Fandango. Half live and half studio-recorded, the album opens with a primed, ripping, in-concert version of the original "Thunderbird" before hurtling into a medley that includes "Jailhouse Rock," Willie Dixon’s "Mellow Down Easy" and another gutbucket original, "Long Distance Boogie." Fandango’s studio cuts represent the band’s high-water mark in songwriting. Every tune is a victory, from the dreamy ballad "Blue Jean Blues" to the hard-riffing "Balinese" to the closing combination-punch of the goofy "Mexican Blackbird," the razor-sharp "Heard It on the X" and, finally, the knockout-the immortal testosterone boogie "Tush." Fans have complained about the original CD transfers of both albums, which were created in the ’80s. Here they’ve been remastered but the difference is only marginally better. Speaking of funky sound, the three live tracks added to each disc sound like middling-quality bootlegs. While fans will need all the extras, it’s the ones on Fandango (including a slowed down "Tush") that show off prime, old-school ZZ Top energy. обложки найдены в инете (back+front (400 dpi)) если у кого есть лучше, выложите и желательно с буклетом и сд-сканом.. |
