Well recorded and beautifully mastered this album puts you in the front row with Homesick James. If you thought that all the music died with Elmore James, then, run and buy this record! I listened to it through, again, because I just couldn't interrupt the guy. He has a gravel voice (he was 87 at the time of this recording) and a slow hand. These songs just make ya' fell good.

This is my first rip of a Fedora Record cd.Fedora is a small label, who deserve all the suport, for giving a chance to unknow bluesmen to show his skills.I have about 20 Fedora cd´s and most part of it are downhome blues.
Let´s try this one for start, because is one of the most "recognizable" of the inteire colection i have.
