thanks for the info Yury_usa.. so that, correct me if i'm wrong, the japan TOCP-65562.63, TOCP-65742.43 and TOCP-53810.11 are different in packaging but they come from the same remaster, the 1994 one ? cause i thought the TOCP-65742.43 was a new remaster different from the 1994 remaster. howevere the Columbia C2K68519 is a different remaster from the 1994 one. bye, Jack. |

yes, I believe all the recent TOCPs are from Doug Sax 94 mastering the only japanese editions that are different are 1st and 2nd pressings

thanks for your reply  some things makes me doubtful and wonder: let me know what you all think about: 1 - in the Columbia C2K68519 (as you can see from the posted scans covers) it's written "1997" year in left/bottom; this makes me thinking there was a new remastering in that year so that this issue is different from the 1994 one. updatet topic: i have checked and it's a 1997 new remaster from James Guthrie for the 20th anniversary of the wall (1979-1999); you can see it in the usa pdf PF cds from this site: http://www.bruder-franziskus.net/discography/index.htm 2 - in this very useful pdf is shown all PF japan discography with cd thumbs!: PF Japan discography it's depicted the 50DP 362 and the 48DP it's also reported the TOCP-53810.11 and it's written that is a "Remastered reissue under the "Rock UK"" so that are we really sure that TOCP-53810.11 is based onto 1994 masters ? 3- have anyone posted/ripped the 50DP 362 CBS/Sony (Japan) the wall release ? bye. не надо быть знатоком, что-бы заметить следующие различия: 1. Разные пиковые уровни 2. Разные длительности треков 3. Четко разное звучание идентичность, конечно, есть - один и тот же альбом: The Wall!  |
