thanks to my friends Johnny Winter - 2001. 38-32-29 Blues amazon.com Early Winter, June 5, 2003 Reviewer: Glenn Abel (Studio City, CA United States) Wish I could be more specific, but since nobody has reviewed this I will write what I heard. This sounds mostly like pre-Columbia tracks, before Winter nailed down his style. Some even verge on pop. He plays well, but with the deliberateness of a young musician. Worthwhile for longtime fans and students of his guitar style. A definite curio. Fidelity is OK. 1 That's What Love Does Winter 2:20 2 Leave My Wife Alone Hooker 2:42 3 Five After Four Am Winter 3:02 4 Road Runner McDaniel 2:04 5 Ease My Pain Winter 3:08 6 The Guy You Left Behind Winter 2:31 7 Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye Winter, Winter 2:40 8 I Can't Believe You Want to Leave Penniman, Price 2:28 9 By the Light of the Silvery Moon Edwards, Madden 2:13 10 Shed So Many Tears Anderson, Shulere 2:17 11 Creepy Winter 2:21 12 Harlem Nocturne Hagen 3:03 13 Livin' in the Blues Collins 2:40 14 The World Turns All Around Her Clark 2:38 15 15 38-32-20 Blues Winter 2:16 16 Kind Hearted Woman Johnson 3:41 17 Going Down Slow Oden 4:39 18 Low Down Gal of Mine Winter 3:06 |
