Van Halen's self-titled 1978 debut is undoubtedly one of the all-time best debuts by a hard rock/heavy metal band. All of the components for a classic are represented - excellent songs and high-octane performances (the excitement of their live show was captured perfectly by producer Ted Templeman) are used to create an invigorating, original sound. Like other acclaimed debuts (Led Zeppelin, Are You Experienced?), Van Halen has a raw edge since it was recorded quickly, and every single song is a winner. It's also become one of the ultimate party albums over the years, since the overall mood is excited and celebratory. While singer David Lee Roth's bravado and the steady rhythm section of drummer Alex Van Halen and bassist Michael Anthony were both key ingredients, the main attraction was Eddie Van Halen's guitar playing. Few other guitarists have had such an instant impact on a generation of up-and-coming players who copied his unorthodox, kamikaze style - especially his trademark tapping technique showcased on the album's legendary solo, "Eruption." The band's first studio album, Van Halen, released in 1978 is widely regarded as a milestone in rock music. I have got a question for you if you are so kind.....

Recently I have purchased via Amazon this CD:

I bought it via Amazon. I guess I will have it in 2 - 3 weeks, more or less.

I thought all Replica CD were remastered but concerning this particular CD there is a comment at CDUniverse of a guy who says:

Justice for all (Import)

So if this is true, I guess I have been swindled

I cannot really say for sure. It could be MUCH better than the official version. OR it could be an EXACT copy of it, but with fancy covers..

значит гапы были в конце треков, треки мы слил в вав (думаю фубарка это делает правильно, без идей) - теперь мы имеем необходимость пересчитать паузы и проверить что кью имеджа совпадает. там точно не 2х секундные паузы! я открывал имедж винампом и проверял.. есть где чуть меньше 2х секунд а есть где 3 и больше..

А, проверить я не могу Потому что треков у меня нет Поэтому назначаем на должность ОТК yury_usa - бери треки, засовывай их в ЕАС, смотри длины, записывай и пересчитывай Главное не бойся, это не очень больно и после этого ты навсегда поймешь почему треки - сукс и мастдай

загрузит трек в EAC, отнять от длины ту кот. в non-compliant cue, и сравнить с гапом который был в двух-индексном куе, правильно?

да, правильно - не забудь про "75 notation"
