After the great success of their first Lp "M" the producer-dj-duo Honesty (Hans Schaaf) and Daniel P. (Daniel Paul Hoffmann) aka Slope from Berlin decided to continue their work after some fine productions and remixes for Alessandro Alessandrino "Neonato" and Daniel Magg ("O-Bah"). To "never change a winning concept" couldn’t only be the aim behind the new record. There is more to discover. Due to their development to produce tracks in the context of harmony filled nujazz or weird broken beats and jazzy house tunes. They has already reached the versatile universe such Atjazz and Domu. The obviously evidents were their highly respected "Basscheck" and "Smooth". Not to forget last years "RE:mixed" with the heavy crowd moving "Citysteps" in the nuts Yannik L. mix. Remarkable are their inclination for affecting vocals. They invited Sabela aka Ovasoul 7 (previous features on the Herbert/Doctor Rockit Remix for Jazzanova, Volcov and Brown Boy!), Colvin Corvez (On the funky "You got to...") and Sonar Kollektiv’s own Clara Hill. The musical side is still in the same direction. Bootyshakin' midtempo jams like "Komputa Groove" feat. Rapper Capital A and "At least" works well. The fantastic "Want'choo longa" reminds on a west londen broken beat hymn similar to a production from the BITA. Pure pleasure is the moody and laid back downtempo tracks "Just add water" and "There is no friendship after love" with the polnish jazz & opera singer Eva Navrod. Finally at the end of the record people can listen to a wonderful deephouse tunes called "Nothing like these feelings" and a confused head banging broken stomper "A gain" which complete the variety and flow of an excellent album who seems to more ingnite the more you listen to.
