SEX AND THE CITY is one of the most successful US television productions in recent years. Its particular approach to the couple relationship in the modern world and to the lifestyle of single people made it a true cult series ever since the first episodes. The skills and genuinity of the cast, the fresh direction and the musical choice helped SEX AND THE CITY to become an audience favourite for various TV Channels around the World. IRMA is one of the record labels that believed in the SEX AND THE CITY project from the beginning and licensed its music to the series to be used as soundtrack to many of the episodes. The musical style of the material licensed goes from Cocktail Lounge to Jazz Bossa, from Chill Out to Chill House, some of the styles IRMA specialises in, which fitted perfectly well to the TV show. In 2004, following six consecutive years of production, SEX AND THE CITY has come to an end, with much regret from the millions of fans. While the producers of SEX AND THE CITY are thinking about making a movie inspired by the TV series, IRMA decided to collect all tracks featured in the series and release them on TWO separate DOUBLE CD COMPILATIONS VOLUME 2 - IRMA at SEX AND THE CITY – “Nightlight Session” (2CD) This volume emphasises on the night scenes and is dedicated mainly to the Chill Out and Chill House sounds, which are now universally considered the ‘official soundtrack’ to the after-work / pre-dinner drink. Among the artists involved are: Black Mighty Orchestra, Montefiori Cocktail, Belladonna, Don Carlos, Ohm Guru, Zeb and Voo Doo Phunk.
