The band itself is extraordinary (proof of Miles Davis's masterful casting skills, if not of God's existence), listing John Coltrane and Julian "Cannonball" Adderley on saxophones, Bill Evans (or, on "Freddie Freeloader," Wynton Kelly) on piano, and the crack rhythm unit of Paul Chambers on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums. Coltrane's astringency on tenor is counterpoised to Adderley's funky self on alto, with Davis moderating between them as Bill Evans conjures up a still lake of sound on which they walk. Meanwhile, the rhythm partnership of Cobb and Chambers is prepared to click off time until eternity. It was the key recording of what became modal jazz, a music free of the fixed harmonies and forms of pop songs. In Davis's men's hands it was a weightless music, but one that refused to fade into the background. Да, это и есть ПЛАСТИНКА!!! Наверное самая "краеугольная" в ДЖАЗЕ! А это - самая лучшая ЦД версия!:-) Мастерингом занимался тот же Mark Wilder, что делал и MasterSound Edition. Он, кстати, неоднократно говорил, что тащится от DSD! Послушав ЦД слой вы сможете догадаться КАК звучит DSD!  |

OlCh, спасибо! У меня кстати, уже есть какой-то коламбиевский релиз(но не mastersound), надо будет сравнить. runo Самая краеугольная? хм... а как же гениальнейший Dave Brubeck - Time Out? |

Други! гле-то полгода назад скачал я из осла вот такое издание: Miles Davis - 1959 - Kind Of Blue (GoldMaster Edition) [EAC-APE-CUE] by ~SoulFly~.rar Сегодня докачался этот диск(cd слой sacd) Я естественно загрузил их в sound forge и сравнил. Результат - абсолютное совпадение  (я то думал - послушаю, посравниваю) Оказывается у меня уже полгода есть самая лучшая cd - версия. Вот такие дела, понимаете ли. |

Спасибо за релиз и прошу сильно не пинать Но такой вот вопрос: скачал я его и не пойму что делать - чем, на какую болванку это добро записать? У меня есть стационарный SACD проигрыватель, поэтому проиграть есть на чем, а вот затык вышел на этапе т.с. производства этого добра. |

Увы, технологии пока не позволяют копировать SACD слой, поэтому мы или наслаждаемся CD-слоем, или пытаемся перевести SACD в DVD-Audio... Кстати, вопрос к старичкам форума...Time Out выходил в каком-то особом издании?.. |
