Live To Win is a little mellower than a Kiss album, but don't forget that Stanley is in his '50s. There are some harder edged rock songs, but the majority of the CD is mainstream pop/rock with giant hooks and singalong choruses along with a few ballads. Stanley, with help from producer Desmond Child, showcases his ability to write songs that are really catchy. His voice also sounds great. He hasn't lost any range or vocal power, unlike some of his aging rock and metal contemporaries. A little more edge and a little less polish would have made it even better, but this is still a very respectable effort.

1. Live To Win
2. Lift
3. Wake Up Screaming
4. Everytime I See You Around
5. Bulletproof
6. All About You
7. Second To None
8. It's Not Me
9. Loving You Without You
10. Where Angels Dare

Do not expect another Kiss CD

It is very melodic and "mature". All in all, it is a pretty good CD with some really good tracks. It is far superior to Gene Simmons "solitary" CD. At Melodicrock the genre of Simmons' CD was:

God knows!!!

And I agree, I just could listen to it one time!!!

I don't like Kiss, to me it was about shows, not so much about music ;) So we shall see if this one is better :) Thanks again!

Heh, finally :) VERY nice CD - did not expect it to be that good! A lot of energy, good music - if not for a voice - you could easy say it's Ozzy :) Like it a lot, thanks! :punk: :punk: :punk:
