Lacrimosa used to be a solo project by Tilo Wolff. He even created his own record label, Hall of Sermon! This first album already showed his incredible talent. It is a very dark piece of music, very slow. There are a lot of keyboards and piano and little guitars, so this is not for "metal integrists"... however, if you open your mind to this opus and can get a translation of the lyrics (in case you don't speak German), you will be able to enter Tilo's world of feelings, of desperation, of illness...
