An excellent live acoustic album which is just a whole lot of fun - it feels as if you're right there at the show, much more so than many of today's over-produced live discs. And speaking of "today" - this was "unplugged" before unplugged became all the rage. What you have here is slightly retooled originals, as well as some interesting covers (much like Dokken would do, several years later). The group's most commercial hit comes from this set - "Signs". Original highights include the almost country version of "Cumin' Atcha Live," plus a very strong and emotional version of "Paradise". Covers include CCR's "Lodi," the Grateful Dead's "Truckin'," and the other notables "We Can Work it Out" and "Mother's Little Helper". metal-reviews.com 1. Cumin' Atcha Live / Truckin' 2.
