Despite the fact that the winds were blowing in the opposite direction, this album brought them a measure of mainstream success that they would not ever duplicate. Upon listening to this album again, it's not hard to hear why. Images & Words, straight up and without reservation, is a really good album - diverse, musical, fluid, and exciting.
