THAT'S THE ONE! SHZE 117-A-2 & B-2

Made from a "special" tape that is actually FIRST generation, from the Twin-Track original, with no added compression or echo UNLIKE the tape (of the same generation) made for the British stereo LP which has extra echo and compression built right in to it.

I tried to tell MoFi about this German stereo master when they were cutting the BEATLES BOX, but they went ahead and used the British tape anyway. Oh well!

Here's the deal with "Die Beatles," German Hor Zu, SHZE 117, as far as I understand it:

The pressing I have sounds amazing. I hope the one you get will too. The MAIN REASON it sounds amazing, and much better than the British first press, is that the studio copy tape that was sent to Germany back in the 1960's was copied flat from the real-deal master tape and NOT the "Equalized and Compressed" British LP master that was used to cut the Parlophone versions.

So, the German tape copy is actually the SAME tape generation as the British cutting master, but without the constricting EQ and extra compression that mars the British version. Make sense?

Не знаю как звучит CD версия, но 24/96 звучит отлично!
Никогда не слышал I Saw Her Standing There в таком качестве!
И вообще, с большим удовольствием послушал этот диск - вспомнил школьные годы!

школьные годы.....тогда и битлз звучали по другому......

Думаю с изданием от FSL тоже следует считаться

С FSL какие-то непонятки у меня: звучит прикольно, но прикольность как у какого-то "саунд-енхэшера" - типа BBE...

это действительно апргрейт 2005 года? не нашел на бутлегзоун никакой инфы по этому изданию

ну не знаю, может у меня уже чевой-то не того с ушами или аппаратами... но слушать это невозможно звук как из бочки по радио 50х годов
