Review
For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) is the 8th hard rock album by Australian band AC/DC, released in 1981. The album was a follow-up to their hugely successful album Back in Black. For Those About to Rock has sold over 4 million copies in the US. It was AC/DC's first, and to date only, No. 1 album in the USA, and also the first hard rock album to debut at #1 in the US, opening the doors for the many hard rock acts to follow that decade. In their review, Rolling Stone Magazine declared it to be their best album.

The album was the third and final produced for the band by Robert John "Mutt" Lange.

The name of the album was inspired by a book Angus Young read, entitled For Those About To Die, We Salute You, about Roman gladiators. The gladiators' final words to the emperor were "nos morituri te salutamus" - or, "we who are about to die, salute you."

есть подозрение, что по мастерингу 1:1 с 32XD, которое уходит за $100+ :drag:
Я слушал австралийское издание, но это лучше! :punk:

Особенно советую 1й трек заценить за рулем на хорошей громкости! :w00t: :D:

Translation: try listening to the 1st track while driving the car, cranking up the volume :music:

# Spain
# Atlantic/HispaVox S.90.471
# Released November 1981
# Track listing same as regular album.
# Released by Atlantic's original distributor in Spain, HispaVox, this original edition of "For Those About To Rock" with reversed colors is the only version of the album with a different sleeve. Some rarer copies also include an inner sleeve with the band's discography & logo. The album was subsequently re-released by WEA Ariola Spain in 1983 with the right colors. The original is worth approximately $50, more with the inner sleeve.

Highway to Hell and/or Back in Black are the best by far. I still cannot decide which one is best

:hi:
Also, this particular "Highway To Hell" pressing is confirmed to be Barry Diament mastering, who was one of the top engineers in Atlantic in the 1980s  :music:
