No disrespect meant, Pr3ss. I appreciate the effort in ripping, scanning and uploading this stuff in any case, but if you actually do a comparison with jpg at 80% (Hi quality mode - disable color subsampling) you won't notice any appreciable difference. I have to resize it down to screen size anyway so I can embed it into the flac/aac files. MrG brings up the issue of flac vs mp3, but in that case, people actually use the files and can tell the difference on good equipment. Thanks for all the quality music. |

Seriously, JPG 90% is enough I think. Even in 600 DPI it doesn't hurt that much. There is a difference between PNG at JPG when we have areas filled with unified colour (eg. red) - in this case one can easily notice JPG artefacts around letters. Again, with the JPG quality of 90% they can be accepted. Pr3ss - do you use any special tricks to scan highly reflective CD surface ? I'd like to upload some stuff but cannot scan the CD without ugly rainbow effect. |

Выношу предложение -- запретить обзывать релизы NL+ если сканер паршивый и дает ефект радуги при скане матрицы! Будьте перфекционистами до конца! |
