Hip-O, Mercury, Universal did their best on this 3-CD box set:
- Scorpions' most popular songs taken from almost all of the German band's albums;
- a short essay on the role of Scorpions in the rock world followed by the brief descriptions given by either Meine or Schenker of how each album was conceived, supported by the original cover art of the album discussed;
- superb (96k/24-bit) remastering by Eric Labson - flawless throughout (the sound may seem "dull" and "unfocused" but great - massive and clean - nevertheless);
- a great packaging job: a fourfold digipak covered with the silver-colored pictures of Scorpions and... scorpions.
Let the diehard fans of the group argue what should or should not have been included, and the rest of us just enjoy the sound! Thanks
