This is a restoration of the 1987 two-record bootleg "Rarer Than Rare" on White Knight WK-271. At the time, a number of these tracks *were* rarer than rare. Many of them have since been reissued from source tapes on CD. Some of them have never been reissued on CD. I have attempted to preserve the sound of the album, where the vinyl was in good condition. In some instances, the example on the record was of such poor quality, that a better source was used to replace that track. But some of these tracks are pretty hard to find, and were remastered from the record. All tracks declicked, denoised, phase and pitch corrected. This album contains two tracks which are newly corrected. The film of The Beatles at The Cavern playing "Some Other Guy" has been in circulation since the 1970s. It is sourced from one particular recording that had a bad speed wow at one point. The version on this album is from the same source, except that the speed wow has been completely ironed out using the graphical pitch bender in Adobe Audition. It's like it never happened. If you don't know where it was, I doubt you will be able to tell where it is now. Second, "Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight" has always had a tape flaw with a speed wow at the first chorus. It has been fixed to the exent that it now only sounds like a tape flaw. The pitch remains constant. These two tracks have not been issued in this form. Scans to follow.
