So, sans Perry, Generations finds the band continuing onward. As Journey albums go, this isn't anywhere near the genius that the dream team of Neal Schon/Jonathan Cain/Perry brought forth in their heyday, but it certainly isn't their worst work either. Augeri has finally grown beyond being a soundalike for Perry and adds his own distinct flourishes to his delivery, though there are moments you could swear the band is just playing one large practical joke and it really is Perry in the vocal booth. This time around, Augeri isn't the only one doing vocal duty; it's a whole band thing. Each member takes a turn singing a song, and the results are painfully mixed. Drummer Dean Castronovo is another convincing Perry soundalike, but Schon and bassist Ross Valory come up short. Of course, singing isn't Schon's forte, as his signature blistering solos return and will testify to on many of these songs (including a nod in one solo to his memorable ending guitar solo on "Who's Crying Now"). The band remains in finer form than ever, and of course will see another successful series of concerts sell out by mixing the old with the new. It's just a shame that Augeri didn't get a chance to really spread his wings and shine on Generations as much as he's capable of, and if the album's closer, "Never Too Late," is any indication, he just might make the lead vocalist spot his own after all.

Founded in 1973 in San Francisco around former Santana members Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie, with the assistance of Ross Valory, George Tickner and Prairie Prince, Journey’s legacy has spanned over 30 years with 18 U.S. releases and over 75,000,000 in album sales. Their music is artful, intense, melodic rock played with passion and superb musicianship.

Journey’s initial style was progressive jazz-rock, complete with extended and improvised solo spots, a style much in evidence on their first three albums for Columbia Records. In April 1975 Tickner bowed out of music to attend Stanford Medical School. He was eventually replaced by ex-Alien Project vocalist, Steve Perry (following a brief tenure by Robert Fleischman).

In 1996 Perry, Schon, Smith, Cain and Valory reunited to release Trial By Fire, which entered the US chart at number 3. The following year Deen Castronovo (ex-Bad English) replaced Smith and vocalist Steve Augeri (Tall Stories) replaced Perry after health problems sidelined the singer.

January 21, 2005 will forever be known as "Journey Day," as declared by Hollywood’s Mayor Johnny Grant. That’s the date JOURNEY—who has sold over 75 million albums worldwide making them the 29th best-selling music group of all time--were honored with the 2,275th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

October 12, 2005 -- JOURNEY wrapped up their 30th anniversary "The concert that takes you back...and into the future" tour on Sunday, October 9 in Los Angeles, CA at the Greek Theatre to a capacity crowd. And once again, fans were treated to a true event as the band brought to life a three hour feast of classic hits, new gems from their recently-released GENERATIONS album (out now on Sanctuary Records), as well as some of the hidden treasures taken from the band’s entire career.
A diverse array of rockers turned out for the show, including Alex Van Halen, John5 (Marilyn Manson), Wayne Static (Static-X) and Marco Mendoza (bassist for guitarist Neal Schon’s side project, Soul SirkUS). Also on-hand was actor Matt LeBlanc, who helped with the award ceremony of the one-of-a-kind "30th Anniversary Journey Motorcycle."

Что я думаю по этому поводу? Ребята молодцы, за 30 лет не потеряли пыла и сделали очень даже не плохой альбом, это с одной стороны! Но я думаю что после 75000000 проданых альбомов, могли бы последний раздать в ослиной и торрентской сетях, было бы в духе времени! :diablo: По-этому исправляем ошибки других! :lol:

Сравнил КлонИмидж и EACImage, EAC выдал кучу ошибок! Все ошибки одного типа
- различающиеся сэмплы! Насколько они различаются, он не сказал! :fu:

Нет установки были другие, с однократной скоростью кто же в наше время читает! :p
