Glenn got a lot of stick from Deep Purple purists for doing what he was asked, so he went and recorded "Play Me Out" and, save for his loyal fan base, got hammered for that too. This album shows Glenn as that talent he is...great songs, superb bass playing and an unbelievable voice. If there was ever a post Deep Purple masterpiece, it is undoubtably this. Pure Glenn, pure class. Five stars don't do it justice. by J. M. Gaden (Hull, England) |
