Overall, this CD is quite good, but definitely not for everyone. The music is very different and employs an unusual array of instruments. The band also does a very good job of getting sometimes subtle moods across without necessarily using words to do it. However, if you don't like industrial, synthetic music you probably want to look elsewhere. Likewise if you don't like bagpipes or listen to music for its lyrics (unless you speak German, in which case the lyrics are actually quite good) you probably will not enjoy this band. |
