Rarely in the field of music has anyone been able to cross into so many areas successfully as Paul Gilman. From an early touring and recording career for major labels and publishers, to the commercial music arena boasting such clients as Maybelline, Soloflex and Jantzen, to the first solo electronic concert at Boston Symphony Hall, voted "Best Solo Performance of the Year" by the Boston Press, he has excelled in every facet of his art.
He is Composer in Residence for the Metropolitan Symphony of Boston, has written dozens of scores for both television and feature films and is a test site for Apple Computers, Robert Moog and Raymond Kerzweil. He is a ‘producer’s producer’, working with such talents as John Phillips and Leon Russell. He proudly produced the last album with Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations.
Now, he takes us into the future of sound, creating music in that unique place where technology overlaps into art.

Gilman's application of technology to art results in a fascinating juxtaposition of sounds, including Andean flute, East Indian percussion and Australian and African drums. The music has an almost physical quality, imparting a kind of energy to the room.

Experiences from another plane of consciousness seem to resonate in the electronic music of Paul Gilman. The effect is a collection of quiet melodies that creates a relaxing tapestry of sound.
