One of the most famous Blue Note sessions, and one of the rare Miles Davis sideman appearances. The Blue Note RVG reissue sounds odd, with the soundstage almost reduced to mono, and compressed dynamics. This earlier CD version by MFSL sounds much better: more full and natural, wide stereo spread, with smooth treble and dry bass. |
