Hiatt had never written anything as nakedly confessional as "Tip of My Tongue" or "Learning How to Love You" before, and even straight-ahead R&B-style rockers like "Memphis in the Meantime" and "Thing Called Love" possess a weight and resonance he never managed before. But Bring the Family isn't an album about tragedy, it's about responsibility and belatedly growing up, and it's appropriate that it was a band of seasoned veterans with their own stories to tell about life who helped Hiatt bring it across; it's a rich and satisfying slice of grown-up rock & roll. This is ones of the major loved discs I've ever. The powerful trio and the Hiatt's vocal done more than I've expected. The guitar of Ry Cooder surrounded all the work, and the rythm section Lowe-Keltner is like a streamroller.
My early record was the MFSL version, and is very musical. "Thing Called Love" is clearly superior than the Bonnie Raitt, and "Have a little faith in me" is a pearl in vocals.

I ripped it with DVD Decrypter at first. But it didn't play :( Also there is audio.mkb on the disc. I'm not a pro in this. This is my first try to release DVD -A with watermarkes

Djubei, there is a difference between dvd-audio copy protection (since there is a .mkb it is protected) and dvd-audio watermark.
When there is a watermark the sound will go off after 30 seconds when played with a standalone player that does not support ripped watermarked discs on DVD-R like my Panasonic S97. But most players play fine ripped copy protected discs.
Have you ripped it with DVD Fab platinum that works fine with copy protected dvd-audio discs?

No, DVD Fab is the only way to go with dvd-audios.

DVDFab рипает ДВД-Аудио только в режиме клон (Clone). Там сразу можно ИСО получить.

Не все слухают двд-аудио через компьютер. :music:
Вот Черт, опять пересобирать в Жеаре придется, неужели сразу склонировать в ДвдФабе нельзя ? :(

downloaded and heared it complete -> Everything works fine for me :-). But I have no information what my DVD-player does with watermarks. Its just a noname 35€ player ;)
so thanks a lot for this one. I like John Hiatt very much ( I did some releases of him)

servers has nothing to do with quick download. I don't use servers; only Kad. :)
Download has to do with credits; you get when you're uploading.
To download a big file faster:
1: put upload priority to release
2: if you use a mod set A4AF to the file
and 3: you need the speed to upload a little faster :p:
or you can ignore this: and make you're own DVD release :laugh:
Sorry I can't help you more, but these are the reasons why some people are downloading faster than others

OK, I finished downloading and checked the disc. It plays fine on my Panasonic S97 so this disc is NOT watermarked.
It is copy protected which means for example that there is no downmixing of the 5.1 audio available when using HDMI (so no sound on the TV, only in the 5.1 hdmi capable receiver and of course in the analogue 5.1 outputs).
Copy protected also means that it is not possible to copy this to another disc but this is past since dvdfab supports dvd-audio.
So thank you Djubei for this fine non watermarked disc
