A CD-premiere for Brilliant Classics! The first complete recording of the Breitkopf Urtext Edition of the organ concertos of George Frideric Handel. Handels organ concertos enjoy a wide popularity, they are brilliant concert pieces, in which the organ plays a joyous, worldly part. Christian Schmitt is one of the most promising young organists in Germany, having won several international competitions. A welcome debut on Brilliant Classics of the famous Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, who play with great clarity and lively articulation, under the baton of Nicol Matt.

This is a very rare opportunity to hear Handel's Organ Concertos for the first time, indeed some may like to take this C.D. to bits and point out what's not right with the recording. You must look pass this and hear and if not see all the very hard work that want into this recording and in my view is outstanding.I love handel and indeed my ebay name is of the same, george-frideric-handel-born1685-died1759 and any recording from the Master of Masters is always welcome-Kind Regards-Eamon John Rogers NAWCC Inc, Ireland
