This also is one of my most loved classical discs. Perfect sound and immensely engaging and thrilling music. I´ve never heard such a powerhouse performance of "The Firebird". You may know this piece from Fantasia 2000. Here it is much better performed. This is a reference recording in every way, also critically acclaimed. I admit, I love Paavo Järvi´s precise conducting style.
