After the succesful soundtrack "Body Love" has been released, Schulze's decision to add another album with more music made for the film is not at all bad. Actually it is as collosal as the first album.
Nowhere - Now Here is among the best pieces that Schulze has composed in his entire carrier.I t has a similar structure with two of "Body Love"'s pieces, Stardancer and P.T.O., a crescendo from a silent and calm start to an electric climax. Schulze offers here the best of everything: Keyboards, rhythms, drums, sequences etc. Stunning piece. Stardancer II is similar with Stardancer (I). In my opinion, the first Stardancer is better,this second version just misses the same effect. This time, what should have been an intermezzo is a finale. This is the role of Moogetique. Is not such a spectacular piece, but its importance as the one of Blanche in "Body Love"). Its significance as a piece that does not make itself noticable thanks to the rhythms or the sequencers, but thanks to the beautiful mixture of melodic and armonic themes, makes this track necesary, so that the album, just like the first volume, can be considered an mixture of themes and concepts. |
