Thrashened Melodic Death Metal from Norway
Attitude is not mesmerizing by any means, but the music is still very enjoyable. I followed Susperia's career starting with their masterful Unlimited and have tried out their 2007 Cut From Stone (which was pretty uninspired, to say the least). Now comes the time to listen to their 2009 Attitude. And Susperia rocks much more than in 2007. The main reason is because they have left their soft Death Metal sound and have added some pretty impressive grinding Melodic Death Metal in exchange. The vocals are still unique, with the mixing of loud singing and screaming (kind of like in Pantera I guess). The riffs are much faster now and can truly provide for sweet hand-banging. Some of the riffs are very catchy as well, with the fast and precise drumming in the background. There are a few amazing guitar solos in here in addition.
