P. Laoss aka Andre Müller was born 1978 in Schwerin, the city of the seven seas. Beginning 2001 he learned by a friend about Techno music and decided to buy a synthesizer, to make music himself. As time passes, he created his own Techno tracks. In 2003 he started his Ambient and Chill project "Vakuum-Sounds". In the following year he produced under this name diverse remixes for Rena Jones and Shen. Later he got the chance to work together with Chris Zippel for the Genuine Project. The first Vakuum-Sounds' album was released in 2007 on Native State Records.
Somnia label presents an atmospheric and delicate journey through textural dub landscapes and machinistic techno ambience. Exquisite sculptures of reverb drenched chords and clicky percussion wind and float their way through hazy electronic vistas.
Representing a palette of restrained minimalism and more beat oriented fragments of the somnia aesthetic, this 9 track album establishes P. Laoss as a mature and thoughtful designer of intricate dub and digitalia.
