 Подробно рассказывать сюжет данного документального фильма смысла, по большому счёту, нет. Название говорит само за себя. "Мегадэт - По ту сторону музыки" - это, главным образом, история жизни Дэйва Мастейна - фронтмена и создателя одного из главных трэш-спид металлических коллективов 20-го века группы Megadeth. В фильме, практически, отсутствует музыкальная составляющая (имеется в виду наличие видео-клипов, фрагментов концертных выступлений и т.д.), но это совершенно не делает его скучным. Огромное количество интервью с участниками Megadeth, как бывшими так и ныне действующими (на момент создания фильма), с прежними коллегами Мастейна из Металлики, с его крёстным отцом Элисом Купером и многими другими музыкальными и околомузыкальными личностями - вот на чём строится весь этот фильм и вот что делает его по-настоящему увлекательным и обязательным для просмотра всеми истинными поклонниками исполнительского и композиторского таланта великого и ужастного ДЭЙВА МАСТЕЙНА!

This live performance is flawless and the sound is excellent. Filmed live in Phoenix (and b-roll footage in Tucson), Arizona, Megadeth kick it off with "Dread and the Fugitive Mind", where they show all the power and intensity that we saw through the TWNAH tour. The main menu gives you 19 songs to choose from where you'll see Megadeth the same way you may have seen during the TWNAH tour. The second menu contains 5 songs, which are in black and white, showing an "underground" sight of the same concert, with added interviews and studio footage.

 Filmed live at Obras Sanitarius stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9, 2005. This is it kids, the ultimate Megadeth show! The DVD is a bare bones release from Image Entertainment. The video transfer presented in its 1.78:1 widescreen aspect ratio is excellent and features occasional split screens and constant head banging 'Deth songs. The DTS and 5.1 Digital surround sound of this concert are outstanding. The band rips through all 18 songs (including a rare performance of "I'll Be There"), one after another and their playing is crisp and precise. Megadeth are worshipped in Argentina and they played "That One Night" outside in front of a sea of fans. The crowd is into the concert right from the beginning and the band doesn't disappoint them. Get your hands on this, you won't regret it.
