If you have ever heard of the Russian bard Visotsky and if you do have a basic grasp of Italian you are already close to assigning a genre to Fabrizio. Although their themes are quite different both in style, topic and expression, it is still poetry accompanied by music. Only that Fabrizio does not sacrifies the complexity and variety of his music for the sake of lyrics (as Visotsky does). This is an altogether beautiful album, encompassing a wide range of subjects, from the noble human to the lonely lost lover, with well arranged and rich melodies. A worthy item in every music lover's collection.
