НеОтСебятинаThe Thomas Gabriel Trio presents its second CD under the title of "BACH-Jazz".
Its members do not jazz about and around Bach because they cannot stand up to traditional performances at the organ, the harpsichord, the double bass or the kettledrums. No, they are driven by an endless search for the colours in the rich light of Bach's works. In their interpretations they transfer the music by Bach into the language of jazz without abandoning the original for even a moment. They do know very well that they may deal with the venerable material on a high musical level only, and they are capable of doing so.
The greatness of Bach?s music becomes perfectly clear in adequateinterpretations only. It is in this tradition that the Thomas Gabriel Trio does its work.
Who edits Bach music nowadays, arranges it. Who plays Bach, arranges it. Who listens to Bach, arranges it. We realize that there will be no end to Bach arrangements as long as his music is played in this world.

Этот диск, до сегодняшнего дня, я не слушал дома ни разу. Несколько раз включался он в хороших автомобильных системах, и то, я в прослушке практически не участвовал.
