Biography:
Freedom and Whiskey is a rock band from the Louisville, Kentucky / Jeffersonville, Indiana area. The band consist of three members Bill Goins, Mike Huettig and Chuck Mingis. The band has released five CD's as of 2010 and has a 70's style classic rock influence with a modern sound. Mike and Chuck are both former members of the band Days of the New. Bill plays bass and sings, Mike Huettig plays drums and sings and Chuck Mingis plays guitar. The band writes, records, produces and masters all of their own material. Tina Goins has also co-written material and photographs the band. Freedom and Whiskey has had other members and musicians over the years such as bassist Griffin Torrance, vocalist and harmonica player Mark Hoekstra, percussionist Rob Edwards and keyboardist / producer Todd Smith. Freedom and Whiskey's material has been featured in many publications, radio stations, contest and have sold Cd's and mp3's all over the globe. Thanks to all our fans that keep us going.
