Jean-Claude Thompson and Mark Harbotte met each other in 1990 and after becoming fast friends went on to form the renowned production duo known as The Amalgamation of Soundz. Over the years this highly prolific outfit has blessed the underground with a wide range of aural delights on a number of labels including Filter, Ubiquity, Airtight, Compost, Good Looking and Blue Note – crediting the duo with a whopping 70 tracks since 1995!

In addition to producing some of the most moving, jazz tinged, break-beat backed movements to ever grace your ears; the London based duo are also stalwart members of the UK’s underground scene and highly rated DJ’s. Their itinerary boasts bookings at some the worlds best known venues including - the mighty Fabric. Fabric 12 provides you with a welcome sample of this dynamic duo’s acclaimed deckmanship.
