| Forget all the so-called "Best-of" compilations...they all tread wearily along the well-worn path of Hawkwind hits that aren't the best tunes anyway. So, my little quacking marimbas, here's what ye must do... Sell thy house/wife/child/everything. With the proceeds buy ye the entire HW studio album collection and then purchase this here CD for a real best-of compilation. Actually the best tracks on this album aren't by HW; "Lord of the Hornets" reminds us how good Robert Calvert was, and "Raj Neesh" reminds us how good Nik Turner is. |
