Forums > Super Sound > Re-Author Ripped Watermarked DVD-AUDIOS |

First of all congratulations for the great forum and sorry for my english as I don´t speak russian. I made a discovery this evening that my interest some of you. I´ve downloaded the DVDA form ELP Brain-Salad-Surgery which is watermarked but not copy protected. What I did first was to extract the mlp files with DVDaudio Extractor and decided to author the first track NOT with CHROME but with DIGIONAUDIO2, which indeed suports 5.1 24/96 mlp files, although in the help and elsewere says it doesn´t. I played it then through my Marantz 6400 and for my surprise it DID NOT STOP anywere. First of all I thougt itwas a mistake from the uploader so the DVD couldn´t not be watermarked. Well, to leave any doubt, I´ve authored the same track now with CHROME. The surprise was indeed huge as after 20 seconds the disc stopped! So Yes, the disc is watermarked but the watermark can be "trusted" by authoring with DIGIONAUDIO2. As I just have this watermarked DVD-AUDIO I couldn´t prove if it works in any others, but I can´t see any reason why it shoudn´t to. Perhaps anyone of you guys would like to check it further out?
Thanks, good luck and happy day Isaak |

DVDaudio Extractor? Do you mean DVD-A Explorer? |
Posted by: isaakvon on 09-05-2007, 23:13 |
Ups! Yes, of course, I ment DVD-A Explorer |

Can you also tell us which exactly version of Digion Audio did you use? And what software you used to burn the disc? |
Posted by: isaakvon on 10-05-2007, 00:14 |
I used the version 2.21 R8, which has a burning engine incorporated that I used to burn the disc. Anyway I´ve realised the it wasn´t as I thought, then after re-authoring the whole DVD, there are some tracks that do stop, so, they are still watermarked. I didn´t know that this could hapen, but indeed; some tracks play entirely, and some stop. So moderators, feel free to remove this post because I´m not longer sure of its profit. |
