"Das Dritte Ohr" is Germany's oldest Bluesband and was founded in 1968 by Udo Wolff. Their apprenticeship was the band as a support group of Europe-Tours of black Blues-musicians from the generation of Muddy Waters and Howlin 'Wolf. "Das Dritte Ohr" was the first German Bluesband in the Eastern bloc, the United States and Central America. They have combined the sound from the Mississippi Delta with texts in their mother tongue. The musical range includes old Delta blues, as well as rolling Boogies and electrical Big City Blues.
